City of Music (UNESCO)

Adelaide Festival Centre in South Australia

UNESCO's City of Music Network is a Subnetwork of the wider Creative Cities Network (UCCN).

The UCCN launched in 2004, and has member cities in seven creative fields. The other fields are: Crafts and Folk Art, Design, Film, Gastronomy, Literature, and Media Arts.[1]

The Network strives to promote cooperation with and among cities that have identified creativity as a strategic factor for sustainable urban development.
